I am definitely enjoying the secure feeling of having a new AC unit during this heat spell. The installation team was great--including you stopping by to thank me for by business. I appreciated that. The only problem I has was when I turned the unit on for the first time, I has water pooling on the basement floor. It happened on a Saturday, but when I called, i got service in about an hour--I was impressed! The problem was that the PVC drain was hooked up incorrectly so that all the water would spill out of the top instead of flowing to the drain. Problem was remedied and I am now happy customer. Fred, Al and Russ have been here all day installing our new Bryant heating and cooling system. I have to tell you how impressed I am with them! Besides completing the job in one day, I cannot tell you happy I was that they explained EVERYTHING to me besides taking the time to answer my questions along the way. As an ICU nurse at Northwestern I thought we were the only ones who asked for a "demo" of what was taught. In this case, Al made me return what I learned from him in his explanation of setting up and using the thermostat, humidifier, etc. As easy and intuitive as the system already is , I have to let you know that as a consumer this level of commitment to your product from Al and Russ was above and beyond and reinforced to me that we made the right choice in choosing your company for our new heating and cooling system. I believe that you mentioned in your first visit to our home, that you stressed the importance of your company offering service. Your team is professional and knowledgeable. We look forward to continued service from your company especially with the level of competence as demonstrated by Al and Russ today. I would be happy to talk to any potential customer regarding a reference about Riley Heating and Cooling. Also, as you know, I received the permit from the City today for the furnace installation. The air conditioner was replaced as existed, with the permit pending. I am hoping this will be approved. Mr. Kahn, In response to the postcard questionnaire I received in the mail after having my Spring Tune-up on my A/C, I can only say my experience with Riley was great. I had my central air installed last year by Eck, Inc. The personnel there were great. This includes Chris Ray who was the company representative at the time (who is now with another company) and Russ, the installer (who is now with Riley). They were very professional and I was satisfied and confident in the work they performed. Since then, Eck was bought out by Elm Heating and Cooling. I was not too pleased with my first experience with them. I contacted Chris Ray who recommended Riley. I am glad he did. Russ was the one who made the call for the tune-up and I was pleased to see him. He has over 40 years experience and it shows. He was complimentary of Riley. You have a good man there. With that, on a scale of 1-10, I would say "10" to referring Riley to others. I have already contacted some people I know. 5/24/11

We are so please with the new furnace that you installed two weeks age. I had read that most boilers are about the same quality; that it's the installation that is critical to a new heating system. Your installer were incredibly neat and efficient and polite. Thank you to them. We had a small problem when the expansion tank, hidden in the linen closet, was not removed. I'd informed a Riley representative - not an installer - about it and it proved to be the reason we didn't have heat in two rooms. But your representative, Paul, came out and fixed the problem with expertise. We are very grateful. We have heat everywhere, even in the family room which hadn't felt heat in years. Great job!
